The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is the world’s largest and most widely recognized International Association for Professional Facility Managers, supporting nearly 20,000 members in 60 countries.

The association’s members, represented by 125 chapters and 15 councils worldwide, manage more than 37 billion square feet of property, and annually purchase more than US$100 billion in products and services. Formed in 1980, IFMA certifies Facility Managers, conducts research, provides educational programs, recognizes facility management degrees and certificate programs, and produces World Workplace, the world’s largest Facility Management Conference and Exposition.

The Indianapolis Chapter exists to help promote the professional development of our members through educational programs, networking, and career support. Our objective is to be the professional association of choice, aggressively advancing the Facility Management profession. Our membership represents 175 of the most respected companies, institutions, universities and service providers to the Facility Management profession in Central Indiana. As a volunteer organization, we also make authentic contributions back into the community in which we live and work, by volunteering our time and talents to assist other charitable and non-profit organizations to improve their building and property by sharing our knowledge and core competencies in facility management.
