CFM Committee:
The CFM Committee is a "brain trust" for new and seasoned Facility Managers. We connect (new with experienced) Facility Managers as a resource for day to day business issues and encouragement while providing CFM educational opportunities.

Our objectives are to provide: assistance to CFM candidates in removing obstacles; therefore making their goal more attainable, input to Professional Development Committee on potential programs, and value to members and employers by posting employment opportunities on the website.

Marketing Committee:
The Marketing Committee oversees the general vision and direction of the chapter’s image and communication. Included in the marketing committee are several subcommittees – Web site, Community Involvement, Newsletter, Public Relations and Communications.

The committee has also coordinated with an outside graphic design firm the design of a new chapter logo which will soon be seen on all chapter correspondence and communications. Implementing this new, progressive look is just one of the ways the Marketing Committee is assisting the board of directors in reinventing our local chapter of IFMA.

Public relations is also an important aspect of the committee’s responsibilities. By consulting with a professional public relations company, the committee is constantly seeking new ways to get IFMA noticed – by company decision-makers, the general public, and our chapter members.

Membership Committee:
The primary responsibility of the Membership Committee is to research, develop, and implement strategies to improve chapter membership, sustain growth, and increase membership retention. Included in the overall development strategy are several targeted action items such as identifying and attracting prospective members while retaining current membership through promoting active member participation in chapter events, social activities, and leadership opportunities.

The Membership Committee works together to communicate to prospective members the benefits and advantages of not only being a part of the International Facility Management Association, but the local chapter as well. In addition, they coach and instruct new members on how to gain the maximum benefit from chapter resources, education and participation.

Professional Development Committee:
The Professional Development Committee is responsible for ensuring that our chapter consistently increases the value of service we provide to our members.

The committee creates and implements a wide variety of events to benefit members – quality monthly programs, specialized seminars, annual professional development day, mentoring programs for associate members and professional members and efforts to promote the awareness and value of the CFM designation.

The Professional Development Committee is always looking for new ideas and people interested in participating. If you’d like to join the effort, we welcome you to contact the Chapter Administrator at 317-328-2147 or acampagna@ifmaindy.org.
