Part of the mission of the Indianapolis Chapter of IFMA is making strong, positive contributions to the community. As a chapter, and as individuals and businesses, we strive to make a difference. Some of our outreach efforts have included:
• Donating $1500 to Envirogroup and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful – a consortium of
professional trade associations working with the Indianapolis Urban Enterprise Association.
• Volunteering for Keep Indianapolis Beautiful – to assist and facilitate in the coordination and implementation of community-based
beautification/reclamation projects in Indianapolis (i.e. planting shrubs and trees in an Old Northside neighborhood and soccer fields).
• Raising $7000 at the Annual Golf Outing for St.
Mary’s Child Center. St. Mary’s is a local preschool
program that serves approximately two hundred 3-
to 5-year old children who have, or are at risk of
having developmental, learning or emotional
problems.
• Coordinating efforts to paint and manage various
refurbishing projects at the St. Mary’s facility located
on Dr. Martin Luther King Street.
• Raising over $600.00 to help a needy family.
• Donating $500 to relief efforts in New York City.
